Abstract
Trends in the study of Islamic law at PTKI (Islamic Higher Education Institutions), the three paradigms of the integration of knowledge (Islamisation, reintegration, interconnection) and the models of their thinkers, the phenomenon of deconstruction without theory, the contributions of anthropology from Snouck Hurgronje to Van Vollenhoven, the areas of the study of Islamic law with an anthropological approach, Geertz's thick description, examples of research on identity and ritual in Aceh, and the direction of interpretive research towards the discovery of theory.
