Abstract

The religiosity of Acehnese society is read through a nation's way of thinking: the concepts of turi (self-knowledge) and haba peuingat (words of remembrance), the philosophy of balance, cultural activities subject to God's rules, peutimang nanggroe (keeping the homeland in balance), self-knowledge, and the concept of gratitude in social life.
