Abstract

Laode M Syarif responds to the phenomenon of DPRD (Regional House of Representatives) members pawning their letters of appointment (SK) to pay off campaign debts. He argues that the root of the problem is the lack of transparency in political party finances, and proposes reforming the four pillars of party finance: income, management, expenditure, and oversight.
