Council on Foreign Relations, New York · Vol. 102, No. 2, Maret/April 2023; sampul · 2023-03
Abstract
The March/April 2023 issue presents technology as the new determinant of the global balance of power. The "Innovation Power" package opens with Eric Schmidt on innovative capacity as a source of state power, followed by Lant Pritchett on the importance of people over robots and Dan Wang on China's hidden technological revolution. The cover also highlights Samantha Power on how democracy can win, Andrew J. Bacevich on the lessons of Iraq left unlearned twenty years after the invasion, and Dara Massicot on Russia's mistakes in Ukraine. Other essays discuss the limits of the China–Russia partnership, the fragility of the United Kingdom, trade for the climate, Asia's "third way" according to Kishore Mahbubani, and Iran after the nuclear deal.
