Abstract

The condition of Aceh, the government, the landscape of the people's lives, and the dayah after the transition; social change and the need for the dayah; the Acehnese learning concept of udep (life) and droe (self); the service of the dayah in upholding Islamic law without a qanun; and the synergy of government and dayah in reading the phenomenon of the reproduction of religious consciousness.
